New UG Courses: Like every other field, continuous changes are taking place in the field of education as well. In this sequence, under the new National Education Policy, UGC is going to launch a four-year undergraduate course. This course will be launched on Monday. There will be a total of 08 semesters in this four year course. After completing this course, students will be able to do PhD directly. However, to do PhD, they have to fulfill the prescribed conditions.
Students taking admission in this new course will be allowed to change their subject after one year. At the same time, students will be able to take admission again after leaving the course after 1 or 2 years and after a gap of three years. Students will be allowed to complete the degree in 7 years. On the other hand, students who drop out after the second or fourth semester will get a certificate or diploma certificate. UGC Chairman Prof. According to M Jagadish Kumar, the existing choice based credit system has been improved. Along with this, a new curriculum and credit framework has been prepared for FYUP.
On the basis of Curriculum, all universities and colleges will be able to decide and implement undergraduate programs from the next session. With the existing choice based credit system, students registered in 3 year UG program can also do 2 year UG programme. As per reports, students will have to do a bridge course.

He will be able to choose the options of leaving the program or getting re-admission, single major, double major degree and honors degree, diploma and certificate programs.
